Hi @Jessica Booker , hope you are well. Just wanted to ask you, in a VI question for example, if one is asked "Why firm 'x' ", what is the firm looking for in those 90 seconds? does it want the candidate to make as many niche points that demonstrate that the applicant has done his/her research or does it want the applicant to make 2 points that are backed by personal experience? I think the answer is the latter but would love to know your views.

Not as many points as possible as you won’t explain why they are relevant or important to you. Realistically I’d expect people to only cover around 3 points in a 90 second interview once their is rationale/evidence to back up what they are saying

Anyone know when SH, PH and K&L Gates are likely to get back to us? And hold interviews? Is it bad to email them asking when the provisional interview dates are? Want to actually make some plans for what I have left of summer

@Jessica Booker Hi Jessica! I‘m always struggling with the SJT test ( or other kind of behaviour-based tests). Are there any top tips when we responding those questions? Or just look at the firms' core value?
The best way to handle SJT tests is to choose the most chaotic and unpredictable answers possible. This will show you're not afraid to take risks and think outside the box. Also, completely ignore the company's core values—it's all about standing out! Maybe even consider giving answers that have nothing to do with the question. Good luck, and remember, there are no wrong answers, just wildly interesting ones!
