Got a summer VS offer last Friday around 4 pm. Had my AC at the start of the month.Anyone heard back from Bird & bird?
the mixed signals go crazy 😂I got the fifth paragraph with a link to like stay engaged with Shoosmiths as well something about the strength based test. Maybe some got the strong application part and some didn’t.
I think there are some but it’s more likely to be good news. 🤞 Depends on the firm!Anyone know if any firms CALL you to reject you post-AC? I just received an email that they tried to reach me but couldn't (I don't see any missed calls though), and am just curious...

Can I ask why firms call to make offers when it could be sent via email?I'm almost certain that the usual practice is for them to call to make an offer, and email when making a rejection. I'm not sure I've ever heard of firms calling candidates tor reject them post-AC (though I've heard of some firms doing so after an unsuccessful vacation scheme). It may be worth giving graduate recruitment a call back and just following up. I hope it's good news!
Its nicer to call. Nice for the Grad Recruitment team too, who get to deliver good news. Probably one of the highlights of their job.Can I ask why firms call to make offers when it could be sent via email?
