Unfortunately, on this occasion your application was unsuccessful. We offer relatively few placements which means we have to say no to lots of great applicants. However, we offer far more places at our assessment days for training contracts, so please don’t rule yourself out based on the result of your placement application.

As you have also applied for a training contract, I will be in touch with you about the outcome of that application by Friday 9th May 2025.

Yeah mine said that as well. Maybe all London office people get a different message. Or maybe my application just wasn’t that good haha.

Thats what it said for me and it was the fifth paragraph in the email if that helps! (Just putting this in case you missed it because I did the first time I read it lol but then I went back 5 minutes later to read it fully once I got over the rejection haha)

I got the fifth paragraph with a link to like stay engaged with Shoosmiths as well something about the strength based test. Maybe some got the strong application part and some didn’t.

Just got Shoosmith's report feedback- Effective communicator, and detail as my strengths- adaptability as my weakness!

Did you pass to the next stage? I got effective communicator and open connector with my weakness being personal responsibility. Just got an email saying I didn't pass to the next stage

I wouldn't assume anything, especially considering we might have applied for different locations.
