I think you can create a profile on vantage and add your details on there and then when you start applications it gives you the option of using the pre saved information that is on your profile to fill in the personal information and the educational sections of the application.

The only things you would need to manually fill in would be the work experience / application questions sections (for obvious reasons).

Once you have created a profile on Vantage then law firms will email you opportunities of their events and reminders of their deadlines for VS/TC’s.
They should really let us reuse our work experience, it's becoming too much for me 😂 😂 EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to spend about 45 minutes completing my work experience section to add 19...

Hello :) can anyone tell me whether firms care about your first year grades if you received a good degree classification overall? I graduated with a First from a Russell group university but my first year grades are very bad. I do have mitigating circumstances (but they were not applied at the time.)

Thank you in advance!

When I spoke to a couple of firms during open days, they mentioned that as long as they can see an upward trajectory, they are not too fussed :) I guess its just to see if you are capable of doing the SQE cause they invest a lot into it.

I have had open day applications asking for my work experience history… 🫠 that’s in addition to answering application questions…

To make matters worse you put all that effort in only to get PFO 😂😂

I tend to amalgamate similar experiences into one work experience section because it makes less work than to manually enter everything as though each experience is different.

It ends up being around 9-10 entries. Vantage only allows up to 11 I think or perhaps that is just specific to certain law firms.

HSF PFO, AG VI and Reed Smith VI all in a day. Feel so conflicted rn
Dw, you progress in some and lose in some; it's part of the process, but im sure you are going to get something! I got rejected from 15 firms so far this cycle; and received VIs, so it's alright! Not to sound insensitive, but was HSF for the summer (did you pass the benchmark), and for the AG, was that also summer (because I still haven't heard anything since the test, which was almost two months ago)?

Anyways, congrats on Reed Smith and AG! Got rejected from Reed Smith two weeks after applying!

Thanks! For HSF it was summer and yes I passed their benchmark a few weeks ago. For AG it was summer too.
