Interesting question. I think Pwc do, but there’s an interview post AC to actually get the vac schemeAnyone know which firms still hold virtual AC’s?
Hey @omnium! While having a slight decline in your yearly average is not ideal (and is something that you may need to be able to discuss in an interview), this should not be an issue. Being on track for a strong mid 2.1 will likely not disadvantage you for any of the other MC firms. I personally know people with grades in this range getting TC offers from Freshfields, Linklaters and A&O. The only firms besides Slaughter and May which anecdotally are more grade-focused are some of the original white shoe NY firms, but even with them I think with a strong enough application you will have a decent chance of progressing.guys I really would appreciate some input, so my grade average for first year was about 67% and for second year was about 64%, I'm currently in third year and wanted to ask if this would put me at a disadvantage when applying to MC firms (and which ones, apart from Slaughter are known to be more strict about grades)
Hi there,Anyone else been asked for a transcript on the application form from BCLP but unable to upload it?
Did anyone apply to EDF?
Has anyone heard back from PWC Post VI?
I received the Gowling Arctic Shores assessment link today.
Hi, I applied to EDF, and I'm preparing to take the video interview. Have you had the interview yet, and if so, do you have any tips?Did anyone apply to EDF?

Yes the email I got said ‘progress you to the next stage of our application’ but I got the test literally 4 hours after applying so idkI think WG is second stage, after shortlisting. But after I completed it, it said "we will now review your WG score alongside your application". So I'm unsure.
I would email the firm first to see if they allow resits and see what response you get from them. It maybe that they are okay with it, especially as you have subsequently passed SQE2, but I think it is worthwhile checking what their own sponsored trainee policy on resits is as they are likely to apply it to external candidates too.Hi! @Jessica Booker
I hope you are well and appreciate all your help
I have a question regarding application forms and the SQE. I have self-funded and passed SQE1 and 2 while working full-time. The issue is, I failed SQE2 by 1% so I had to retake it. Should I make it clear in the application forms with the mitigating circumstances or should I email the firms and ask? As I don’t want to waste my time on an application if there is no chance at all due to the resit. I hope my question makes sense and thank you so much!
