The email I have just received says they will now consider my application and result. I am a little confused as the initial email upon receiving the MMAT said we reached the next stage, but a few people have said they think the test is automatic.

Does this mean I have just reached the benchmark from the MMAT?

Got the same email. The test is automatic (at least it is this year). The MMAT is not really a next stage. The probably forgot to change the wording in the email.

Congratulations and incredibly well done. Perseverance is a very important quality to have when you are a lawyer, and you will have had that in bucket loads to keep going over the last five cycles.

I applied on 9 June but they couldn't process my application until 4 July because I hadn't gotten all my grades back from uni until then. I got invited for an interview two weeks later and then did the interview two weeks after the invitation.

I received an invite to the Mayer Brown trainee simulation assessment and feeling a bit overwhelmed as to what I can expect. Does anyone have any tips on how to prepare for it or any insight as to what I can expect?

Anyone heard from Dentons or Trowers for the final TC interview?

I did the McQuaig test for Trowers and got an email saying I've made the benchmark and they're considering my app.

For Dentons, I did the initial test and then the video interview around 2 weeks ago but nothing yet on the final interview. I saw on Linkedin today someone got the TC but I checked out their profile and they've been a paralegal at the firm for the last 2 years. Do you think this might have had an impact on their app progressing faster or just that I should expect a PFO?
