DLA Manchester PFO 
they said they recruit on a rolling basis and had limited spaces for VI which are filled - I applied on the deadline so is it wishful thinking to believe it was just my timing or is that them being polite and my application wasn't good enough? 😂

they are two different instances from the same work experience, one around delivering excellent client service (which was an example of me doing some independent work) and another around being a value member of a team.
Has anyone else who did the Latham open day not heard back for summer, or should I assume pfo?
Anyone heard from Burges Salmon? We were meant to hear by tomorrow

Is there a word Limit for the Freshfields personal statement? - I can’t see a reference to it but want to double check in case I have missed it.
My statement is 871 words and I am finding it difficult making it shorter.

In no more than 850 words, tell us all about who you are. As part of your personal statement you should demonstrate that you have the potential to be a great trainee. We also want to know why you want to work at Freshfields and what excites you about a career in commercial law. You may wish to mention any positions of responsibility held at university, as well as work experience or employment, achievements, interests and personal qualities you think are relevant.

I had a telephone interview for the Aspiring Solicitors AS AstraZeneca and Covington mentoring scheme and not heard back yet so I am assuming it’s a PFO. 🥲
Has anyone heard back about this particular mentoring scheme? They said we would hear back on Monday with the outcome. 🥲
