@Ram Sabaratnam @Jessica Booker

I had a question I’d love you to answer!

I have been invited to an AC and they only have 1 date available, unfortunately I have 2 AC’s already scheduled the same week with one being the next day. Is it best to book the date available or email graduate recruitment? I ask as I don’t want this to bite me back and they say it’s their last AC date. (They have been doing AC’s throughout this month already).
Should I explain I have others ACs or just state I’m unavailable?

Thank you :)
You can ask - it’s no issue to do that, but be prepared for them to confirm it’s their only date. There won’t be any negative consequences for asking.

You can say you have other commitments that week and so you are keen to see if there are alternative dates in the first instance. If they say no, then you can just work out whether you can make the date or not.

Thank you!!

Would it be wise to do 3 ACs in a week😅 i selectee the last date available for the other two so I definitely can’t move them. I have 2 deadlines and an AC next week so not sure if I could do any earlier either.
I know plenty of people who have done a similar amount of assessment centres in the same period of time, but it’s ultimately up to you and what you want to prioritise. You can always withdraw from one of the other firms if this firm is a priority for you and you are concerned you won’t be able to meet all commitments that week.

Hi guys - silly question for personal statement, do you directly start with content or have stuff like dear graduate recruitment? Can you avoid things you mention in a cover letter? @Jessica Booker please advise!
If it is a personal statement, no letter formalities are needed. You just go in with your opening sentence/paragraph.

Hi everyone, I really need help.

Did an AC with HSF and I know someone on the AC with me got a phone call a few hours later with an offer. I was told it could take a week and have heard that sometimes they call others later on in the week. I genuinely felt the AC went well. Has anyone got any information about this- specifically if they do call you a week after?
Hi, congrats on your AC, I can't answer your question but I was just wondering if you could kindly let me know if this is for the spring VS?

Hope all is well! I don’t want to say “don’t worry about it” because I completely get your uncertainty and doubt.

My friend who has a TC with HSF was in the exact same position. Waited almost a week to hear back. The silence was gruelling. Turns out the partner who made the decision went on a ski trip, explaining the delay!

It’s unfair to wait that long but it puts in to perspective why. Could be an administrative issue. When you know, it will be worth it.
