Does anyone have an idea about timings post AC? I'm waiting to hear back from an AC I had with DLA on Tuesday and don't know whether to read into the delay too much
Definitely nothing to read into this if it’s only 2 days since you AC. Could easily be 1-2 weeks, but I would probably follow up with a “I forgot to ask at the AC, but when should I expect to hear back in regards to my performance” email the end of next week if you haven’t heard by then.

Does anyone know if there are currently any vac scheme applications that are still open?
Our directory is great for this information.

You can filter by programme type and order by application deadline

For the Freshfields personal statement do I need to structure it as a letter? I.e. Dear Graduate Recruitment team, then paragraph explaining your background, yours sincerely etc ? On the applications database of TCLA it has examples of both so Im not sure which is correct
No need for any letter formalities. You can just start with your opening sentence/paragraph.

Some people do include them, and you won’t be marked down for doing so, it’s just a waste of words in my opinion and won’t add anything to you personally statement.

well definitely just failed my first exam in 3 years of uni today, so I look forward to finding some way to explain that on future applications 😀 do people have any advice for explaining resits, where you didn't really have any mitigating circumstances, you were just ill, but not ill enough to get a deferral, and tired and probably didn't revise quite enough anyway.

aside from that Macfarlanes PFO, and CMS WG invite came through during the exam!
