how did u know how many words u wrote? i couldn't see a word count anywhere at all and didnt bother to spend time looking lol
I may or may not have counted each word I typed, wrote down the total number of words for each paragraph on a piece of paper and added them all up together when I finished writing everything…

Very strange method I’ll admit but I had to think of some kind of way to track the word count lmao. 🤣

Didn’t want to try risk writing it up on word and running out of time and having no answer to show. 🥲

Edit: I did the counting as I was writing not at the end in one go. 😂

Good evening all!

Does anyone know for reference, if it’s easier to obtain a TC through CC Spark or the direct TC process.

I’m only asking because I’m following the grad rec on LinkedIn who’s commented on a few posts- but essentially they’ve started rolling out TC offers for spark but it’s been only about 8-10 people so far.

I’m curious as to which route is more competitive - not that it matters to me since I’m ineligible for Spark. Although I would much prefer a one day assessment centre and then recieve an offer than to be assessed for 9 month’s continuously and maybe or maybe not be offered a TC- but with the stress of having to perform over their 9 month programme

I was just under 500 but then again I didn’t identify every issue because I was scared of exceeding the wc
I think anywhere in the region 500-700 should be fine. I remember in one of Willkie’s virtual events Gemma said someone had wrote 2,000 words in 90 minutes…

Idk how they even managed that given the limited time frame tbh. I think I wrote roughly 600 words. 🥲

I think the word count for previous exercises was about 600 but they changed the written exercise this year so they can’t really be compared. 🙂

I hope Debevoise has other invites that they will send later on, because I am actually going to be so sad if I don't get it; because it's the firm I spent the most time on and it's at the top of my list with Gibson :(
I hope so too. I think they have 3 dates for open day from feb -march. Hopefully they only sent the ones for this feb? :/
