Hi guys- potentially a stupid question (can you tell I'm an overthinker? lol) but does the Watson Glaser collect scores automatically? That is to say, if I have completed all the questions and have proceeded to check my answers, and while I'm checking my answer the timer finishes and I do not press "finish", my score will still register?

Presuming HL has done all ACs for their SVS? Anyone still not heard back from them post WG?

Gonna take it as a PFO from them
Someone on the forum had their AC under a week ago and subsequently got offered a place on the SVS.

They mentioned there has only been 2 AC’s so far for the SVS (6 people per AC), and that HL are scheduling a lot more over the next few weeks. 🙂

I think it’s way too early to assume a PFO. The majority of us haven’t heard back post WGT. There’s still hope left for HL SVS! 🥲

Hi @Jessica Booker @Amma Usman

I have a bit of a scheduling challenge and would appreciate your advice. My exams end on the 24th, and I’ll be traveling back to the UK on the 26th after a 13-hour journey as an international student. I recently received another AC invitation, but the available dates are the 28th and 30th. I already have an AC scheduled for the 29th and an interview on the 31st.

With everything being so tightly packed and my exams, I’m concerned about being able to prepare thoroughly for any of the assessments. Given these circumstances, would it be worth emailing graduate recruitment to see if my AC on the 30th could be rescheduled to a later date? Should I mention the other AC and interview when I reach out?

Hey! Last year I applied to them and got a AC for the SVS they replied back to me to offer an AC around late January. So I wouldn’t keep your hopes down. When I checked they were holding ACs till late Feb/early March.

I definitely think you should consider writing about the firm globally and as a whole, as their serious presence in London has just been established and thus there will not be much historical work you can reference. Moreover, I think this question is inviting you to discuss Paul, Weiss' broader strategy as a firm and how the London expansion features into it. Thus, I think it would make for a more insightful analysis if you also mentioned its origins as a white show litigation specialist who has already undergone a revolution post-2008 by heavily investing into becoming a leading player in transactional sphere as well. Since this transformation has been widely recognized as a remarkable success, that could fit well within a broader narrative about Paul, Weiss' entrepreneurial edge. On that point, for a more detailed analysis of the firm's history, strategy, and expansions, take a look at the Paul, Weiss profile I wrote during the summer.
Argh, I only saw this today. I only mentioned their PE and litigation work generally, but all the examples of cases I referenced, including pro bono work, relate to deals in the US. I did not mention their broader expansion as part of their strategy but it could be inferred I guess. Fingers crossed.
