I applied for Hogan Lovells on Saturday, but still haven't received the WG. Is this normal, or should I email them?
^^?Does anyone know which month Gibson Dunn starts to hold first-stage interviews?
They don't send on weekends, so you're effectively on the day after applying.I applied for Hogan Lovells on Saturday, but still haven't received the WG. Is this normal, or should I email them?
Thanks for letting me know! They don't send on weekends, so you're effectively on the day after applying.
It's a rough guide, but Law Careers Net publishes stats the reveal VS - TC ratios (sort of).@Jessica Booker I was just curious, as a general rule of thumb, do you know if vacation schemes at US firms are typically more competitive to convert, as opposed to doing a VS at a magic circle firm with a huge intake? Just the actual conversion, not securing the scheme itself.
They are really inconsistent at sending out WG. I would wait a few weeks before e-mailing.I applied for Hogan Lovells on Saturday, but still haven't received the WG. Is this normal, or should I email them?
You could argue so as generally the US firms have many more vacation scheme places than TCs, meaning they can turn down VS candidates due to lack of opportunities, while the MC firms have either a similar or less VS places than TCs, and so end up doing direct recruitment, meaning they can typically offer as many VS candidates as they like.@Jessica Booker I was just curious, as a general rule of thumb, do you know if vacation schemes at US firms are typically more competitive to convert, as opposed to doing a VS at a magic circle firm with a huge intake? I emailed them about this and they said that they will be sending out links to the WG mid-October.I applied for Hogan Lovells on Saturday, but still haven't received the WG. Is this normal, or should I email them?
Odd, I didn’t get an email.Got an email from Taylor Wessing saying they’ll get back to open day candidates in October after the closing date if anyone was wondering
Great, thanks!I emailed them about this and they said that they will be sending out links to the WG mid-October.
thhank you so much!So I would say cognify had 3 parts: shapes (3 games i think) + maths (not just addition but division, minus, multiply at harder level) + english (pointing out spelling/punctuation mistakes in paragraphs)
for all three you need to practise it in timed conditions. Time for all the questions is very short and I could barely read the entire paragraphs for the verbal reasoning when timer would go off, very different than other tests i have done for other firms
Is DLA’s WG automatic?
Amma went to a non-RG uni and has a TC with them! You should still apply if you like the firm despite them mostly hiring RG grads.Anybody know if Gibson Dunn prefers RG graduates to non-RG?
