Hi @Jessica Booker, following our phone call, I was wondering if you could please send or attach here any written exercise resources you think may be useful in preparing for Willkie's written assessment and Latham's written exercise for their AC. I would be keen to have a go at practising both with feedback if possible - which paid service and options would be best to select?
Hi, when did you hear back from Willkie? Thanks

Hi all,

I hope you’re all doing well!

Just wanted to give a random update on this cycle so far. Need to get back into it after I wrap up some exams in a couple of weeks:

VS

-NRF
-W&C ❌
-Bird & Bird ❌ (post WG)
-HSF ❌
-Cleary ❌
-Covington ❌
-Linklaters
- Sidley Austin
- Jones Day ❌
-Reed Smith- SJT/VI completed
-Baker McKenzie Summer VS- -app submitted
-Gibson Dunn- app submitted
-Cooley- app submitted
-Womble Bond Dickinson- app submitted

TC

- Sullivan & Cromwell
- Clifford Chance
- CMS ❌ (post WG)
- AO Shearman ❌
- Freshfields- app submitted
- HFW- app submitted
- Goodwin- app submitted
- Mayer Brown- app submitted
- Greenberg Taurig- app submitted
- Trowers & Hamlins- SJT done

Thoughts: I am very happy to know that I am starting to move past the application stage for some firms! Also been working hard to understand the logic behind SJT/WG tests, just hope it fully clicks sooner rather than later.
Thank you for sharing! Don't worry, he who sows unceasingly will reap in due course! If you don't mind me asking, are the VS winter, spring, or summer (Linklaters, W&C, Covington, NRF... because I applied for their summer and haven't heard anything yet, so I am supposing a nice little new year PFO gift...)?

Do you have to do test and submission before 5 jan?
I have no clue, the rare questionnaire comes like a day after you submit then the test comes a few days after you complete rare, so i don’t think your required to do the test before the deadline. However, if that’s the case then people would be required to submit the app like a week ahead of the deadline.

Thanks, I hope so! I applied for the winter schemes. For W&C my first choice was winter, followed by Summer and Spring.

If you’ve applied for summer then I definitely would not assume PFO yet. For example with Baker McKenzie, a lot of people for the spring scheme have started to hear back but not yet for the summer one understandably.

Please give details of your extra-curricular activities and interests including any positions of responsibility. (250 words) - do I need to write in full prose for this question? And how far back should I include?

Does anyone have any insight into Paul, Weiss application process?

I went to thier first open day in October and they said things for the 2nd stage were still in the working- wondering if anyone attending anything more recent has any new insight?
