Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!
I reached their interview, but have not heard back from them since... I completed it a month ago; likely PFOhas anyone does Simmons and Simmons blended assessment yet?
For me they said:Hi all, silly question, but for those who were put on hold by S&C, could you share exactly what the holding email said? Thanks!
Ah I see. Thanks for sharing! For me they said:

The Recruitment Committee has now reviewed your application and for the short term, we would like to place your application on hold. We will consider your application again in the coming weeks (post application deadline), at which time we will advise you as to whether or not you have been shortlisted for interview.
Again, may I thank you for your continued interest in Sullivan & Cromwell; we look forward to being in contact with you soon.

I feel like im probably gonna get a PFO though so, idk 😂Ah I see. Thanks for sharing!
Unfortunately not. You need to meet the following criteria.Hi!! Does anyone know if graduates are eligible to apply for this: https://jobs.pwc.co.uk/student/uk/en/job/561764WD/Advancing-Social-Mobility-Legal-London-2025
Thank you!! I read through that but wanted to check because they keep sending me emails for this role even though I filled in my details on their website so thought they would only send relevant applications through 💀💀
I applied today, it's rolling but from what I understand they do not give AC's until after the deadline and the test is not automatic!
I have a mid 2:1 overall and got an AC with Covington last cycleHi all, which U.S. firms are known to be strict on grades? I currently have Debevoise, Sidley, V&E, Orrick, Covington, and Ropes & Gray on my list. Should I avoid any of these with a mid 2:1 overall🥹
I would expect that this needs to be more motivational based.would appreciate some help regarding this question on the burges salmon vs application: "Burges Salmon offers a six-seat training contract across a wide range of practice areas. Discuss 3 areas that you would be most interested in spending time in."
what am i meant to "discuss" in this? does it mean why I'm interested in those areas, or does it mean talk about those areas in general and discuss recent news about them? or both?
