Does anyone know the Goodwin application questions and can just type it out here please? Wanted to get it sorted first before having to fill out the rest of the form
Why are you applying to Goodwin? (100)

What is your personal motivation for seeking a career in corporate/commercial law? (100)

Discuss a commercial issue that has particularly interested you. Why did it capture your attention, and what impact could it have on the legal sector? (300)

What do you believe are two key qualities of a successful solicitor? How have you demonstrated these qualities in your education and/or experience to date? (300)

Which other firms are you applying to and why?(200)

Please briefly summarise anything else that you would like to add which you think is relevant to your application. This can be positions of responsibility, extra-curricular activities and achievements or academic awards or scholarships.(200)

Assuming this is for the legal vac scheme? Do you know when the deadline was btw? (sorry not very helpful to your question)

They close when they reach the threshold of the maximum amount of applications they consider per year and when they fill up the spaces! (That’s what the job description said!)

No set deadline, it changes according to demand :)

Baker McKenzie SJT scores

Grit: 4/9
Applied Intellect: 1/9
Creative Force: 4/9
Digital Mindset: 6/9

Applied Verbal Intellect: Apparently I "excelled"

Make it make sense. I'm expecting a rejection now.
In the interest of transparency, my results were:

Grit: 6/9
Applied Intellect: 7/9
Creative: 3/9
Digital: 6/9

Applied Verbal: Excelled

Tbh i don't know what to make of these results, especially the 3/9. Will not keep hopes high.

I think these scores r v good! Maybe they look at an average? Out of interest when did you apply? I have received a test invite and applied two months ago

I hate online tests! I did a test for Trowers, and I got collaboration as an area of weakness... that looks so bad. My former employers have praised me for being a team player, and I love working with other people. Tests are not a good reflection of what someone is like😭

This is the first time though I didn't get leadership as an area of weakness. I got communication, resilience and adaptability as my strengths which are good but collaboration is SO important.

Indeed. I like firms without the tests. Hence mostly applying to US firms.
