Hi! I'm starting my SQE prep course (City Consortium Programme with BPP) in February 2025. I'm based outside the UK so I don't really know others starting their prep around the same time as me. Anyone here at BPP in the same course as mine, or with some other provider? would love to get in touch!! Also, I'm aware that it's too early to rent for February rn, but I'm looking for potential flatmates. Any leads would be appreciated :)

At least you got an AC I still haven't heard back from my original app. They said they would email me when there's an update, but feel pretty hopeless given people have already done an AC!!
Hey, i think people are still receiving video interview invites (second stage) for the WVS, so there's still hope. Fingers crossed for you :)

@Jessica Booker i have looked to book train tickets to an open day and the ticket prices are £200. 200 great British pounds ridiculous. I live in the UK. The email the firm sent regarding reimbursement states they’ll only reimburse up to £150. Is it best to decline my space on the open day. I have looked at flights which in itself is crazy seeing as I’m in England. Flights are £300.

I applied to King & Spalding’s in person insight day but was rejected (I applied literally on the night of the deadline so can’t complaint) - in their email they’ve invited me to their virtual one on the 16th. Do you reckon they liked my application but couldn’t offer me a place in person due to capacity, or this is a template invite they would send to most rejected applicants?

Travel outside of the UK and back in for less maybe? What's the nearest airport and how much is it to go to Paris? Is it cheaper now? Then get that quick turnover in to London and bosh.

Oh maybe fly to Cardiff, then train in to London? 👀

Does anyone know if Kirkland takes non-law trainees? Their website states they provide sponsorship for PGDL, but I recall someone on this thread mentioning they do not in practice take in non-law people.

I can’t do that as i need to travel the day of and it’d take too long. Thank you for the suggestion.
