I’ve been told that my VI has been marked but GR are still deciding what to do. I took mine 2 weeks ago today.Has anyone heard from PwC post-VI or know when we might hear?

I heard back about a week and a half after I did mineI’ve been told that my VI has been marked but GR are still deciding what to do. I took mine 2 weeks ago today.
Cheers. Was it good news? If so how long did they give you to prepare for the AC?I heard back about a week and a half after I did mine
I can’t do that as i need to travel the day of and it’d take too long. Thank you for the suggestion.Travel outside of the UK and back in for less maybe? What's the nearest airport and how much is it to go to Paris? Is it cheaper now? Then get that quick turnover in to London and bosh.
Oh maybe fly to Cardiff, then train in to London? 👀
yep was good news - I had about 2 weeks!Cheers. Was it good news? If so how long did they give you to prepare for the AC?
I'm waiting from all three!!!!! so painfulIs anyone still yet to receive a response from W&C, Covington or Dechert? I feel like I'm gonna expect a triple PFO ffs😭
They take non-law. In fairness, I don’t know the %. But I know non-law trainees there.Does anyone know if Kirkland takes non-law trainees? Their website states they provide sponsorship for PGDL, but I recall someone on this thread mentioning they do not in practice take in non-law people.
the constant checking of emails is really doing a number on me lolI'm waiting from all three!!!!! so painful
Much appreciated info, thank you! They take non-law. In fairness, I don’t know the %. But I know non-law trainees there.
Pretty sure Davis Polk is the only firm to not take non-law.
And unrelated, but, if you’re a law or non-law graduate, you can only apply to Sullivan for a direct TC (not a VS). Adding this here for everyone to read because the firm really doesn’t make it obvious enough
Have you looked at a coach? its very slow but cheap! - You could catch one the night prior and pay £60 for a hotel in a premier inn for the night.@Jessica Booker i have looked to book train tickets to an open day and the ticket prices are £200. 200 great British pounds ridiculous. I live in the UK. The email the firm sent regarding reimbursement states they’ll only reimburse up to £150. Is it best to decline my space on the open day. I have looked at flights which in itself is crazy seeing as I’m in England. Flights are £300.
The thing is I must leave the morning of the open day. I have work the day before and training the day after so I can’t stay an extra night. Very annoying. More at the fact that tickets are so expensive.Have you looked at a coach? its very slow but cheap! - You could catch one the night prior and pay £60 for a hotel in a premier inn for the night.
