Hello @Jessica Booker! Hope you are well. I have applied to a firm last year that included in the rejection email (post-app) that my application was strong and that I was encouraged to re apply this year. However, I have nothing new when it comes to work experience because my country had been at war for the past 1+ year and this was not really my priority, unfortunately. Can I reapply just with a much stronger app or is new work experience required to have a good chance of them progressing me to the next stage(s)? Thanks a lot!

I don’t think you need work experience to improve an app - it can help but there are other ways to show the improvement in your application, plus the form feels you had a strong application to begin with, so it maybe that you don’t need to show any major development, but persistence in developing your skills and knowledge (but this can be demonstrated in many ways outside of work experience).

Great thank you very much!

I want to change the location of my training contract to London. What could be a good reason?
It is unlikely that a firm can accommodate this. They very much frown upon people applying to a regional office believing it to be an easier application route to try to switch to London once an offer is through.

Feel free to PM me about this. I'd stress most won't move you, either because it is a standard policy not too (too many people have tried this before) or because they won't have a vacancy for you to move into.

Ultimately you will need very legitimate reasons for requesting the change, and even then, be prepared for the firm to say no.
