Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!
I heard its just a critical thinking test similar to WGTI believe you have to do another WG in the AC to verify the WG you did online
Trowers said in the application confirmation email that they’ll get back to people in the end of August. So probably in about 2 weeks I’d say.Anyone heard from trowers?
I’ve done it before, pretty sure it was just another Watson Glaser testI heard its just a critical thinking test similar to WGT

Yeah that’s true! Although it’s a bit silly. As GR said the WG test done during the AC is not taken into account, just your other interviews are (I completed a VS with them last year)I believe you have to do another WG in the AC to verify the WG you did online
If you have been applying since 2017, and have had various vac schemes at firms I think maybe you need to focus your energies on your interview strategy/ how you come across off paper. That would be appreciated. I’ve not passed any WG I’ve taken since 2017, and did VSs at firms that don’t rely on it like Slaughters, Debevoise and Travers. I also got the V&E VI, and ACs at Cleary, Jones Day and Milbank who don’t use the WG.
My highest WG score ever was 77% for HL in 2020.
I’m unsure whether to focus on firms that don’t use any psychometric testing or invest time into the WG as well as networking and application technique.
Should we email them?White & Case Re…

Thank you. Sixth time lucky, hopefully! 🤞🏻If you have been applying since 2017, and have had various vac schemes at firms I think maybe you need to focus your energies on your interview strategy/ how you come across off paper.
😬 I don’t want grad rec to know me as someone who pesters (particularly as it’s probably a first impression). A Macfarlanes Associate once told me that to get a TC, “you need to be the kind of person who’ll get it anyway”. I feel like badgering graduate recruitment doesn’t help.Should we email them?
