Ince is an international law firm, with diverse specialisms, which sector/specialism would you advise the firm to focus expansion and why? (Max 350 words)
Does anyone have any advice on how to approach this question - drawing blanks atm
So I always approached questions like this by creating a big mind map of all the current areas the given firm services, and also parallel mind maps of the service offerings of other firms in a similar bracket. Look for areas that either 1) your firm isn't offering in which others are that make it less competitive or 2) areas in which no firms in that bracket are offering which could make it stand out from the crowd.Ince is an international law firm, with diverse specialisms, which sector/specialism would you advise the firm to focus expansion and why? There's different ways you could approach this but think about the following questions:
1) what sectors/specialisms are potentially not as developed at the firm? (particulary in relation to the location you are applying to)
2) what sectors/specialisms have high growth opportunities given what is happening more generally on a macro level within economies
3) what trends/developments are happening currently that may lead to more client work from those type of clients?
4) Are there any areas that may complement the firm's existing strengths? E.g. you could expand a practice area/specialism but that could lead to more cross-over work with Ince's key department strengths.
Thank you so much both for this! Hope this helps
