Big question is did anyone get PFOed/not invited?

It says:

This exercise involves answering 20 multiple choice questions to test your general commercial awareness.
These questions will cover areas such as:
Organisations and people e.g. “who is the CEO of…?”
Commercial concepts e.g. “what is a debt?”
Financial instruments e.g. “what is a bond?”
Global finance e.g. “the Euro is valued against...?” [not sure what this one means, market sentiment, economy size, military might, etc?]
All questions will have multiple choice answers to choose from, you must select the correct answer. You will be required to complete the exercise within 4 minutes. You must complete this exercise by 1pm on 31 March.

Just did the test.

It was pretty easy, but I was spending too much time on the questions and managed to get #17 wrong due to rushing, and ran out of time on #20. Not sure if it let me submit or not, but I just picked randomly and gave the wrong answer anyway. 18/20, not sure what their benchmark is.....

Whats going on with WBD? Has anyone tried emailing? Its quite frustrating that they said we would hear back by the 7th of March and they still havent provided outcomes.

I did email them two weeks ago asking when we should expect to hear back and they said they were still working their way through applications and would aim to get back to people within a couple of weeks. So hopefully it will be this week or next!

I think it's good to not have gotten a response yet, typically WG invites are staggered over days/weeks and not sent out instantly all at once so "no news is good news" (fingers crossed for your receiving a WG!)

Three first-stage PFOs so far today: Arnold & Porter, K&L Gates, and Brown Rudnick.

Also a second-stage SHL test from Devonshires. Annoying scheduling etc. task Only got to question 21 of 24.

so apparently this was good enough, got email for Teams interview.

Sorry for the late reply. I was waiting for the early careers to get back to me, as they had mentioned to me, before reaching out for further advice. However, I have not yet received any email or further communication since the offer call on Friday. How long would I normally have to wait for email confirmation following a phone call offer?

I would still look to reschedule the interview over missing a day of the VS - firms are used to candidates rescheduling and if you explain to the interview firm you are rescheduling as you have a vacation scheme, they are likely to move you again.

Unless your vacation scheme is during the Easter holidays, I would wait at least a week until asking for when the formal documents would be sent, so I wouldn't chase up until Monday.

For most firms probably not, but I would try to wear something very subtle/small if you are concerned - most people are unlikely to even spot it if you wear something not obvious.

I would consider what you think you will be aspects of the job that will be more difficult. I would try to avoid the very obvious like long hours, challenging work, and focus more on specific responsibilities or tasks that might not play to your strengths, but then try to build in how you will use the resources around you or your strengths to try and balance out this challenge.
