Register HereAssessment centres are notorious for not running to time. With every intention and amazing planning in the world, they so easily fall behind schedule.
I wouldn’t worry too much about when your exercises started - it’s just about getting the amount of time for exercises like written assessments/case study prep etc.
Every time I see this firm's name I assume for a split second that people mean Harris DickinsonHas anyone heard from Hill Dickinson or know when candidates will hear back?
That's odd - my timetable looked the same, but stated 'Wrap up and Final Questions' in the 11:40 - 12:00 slot, so maybe there was a typo in the timetable sent to your group? They sent a table which was a Word document that consisted of a table with five rows (plus header):
<Time><Activity><Zoom link>
<10-10:15><Introduction><link>
<10:15-11:00><Group Exercise><link>
<11:00-11:10><Break>
<11:10-11:40><Written exercise><link>
<11:40-12:00><Written exercise><link>
(there was no other text except for the names of the staff leading the sessions)
Whereas they should have combined the last two rows into one
<11:10-12:00><Written exercise><link>
and provided further clarification:
"You will be sent a link to a skillsarena task on the day, which you will have 30 minutes to complete. You should join the zoom session before starting the task, then leave it to do the task, then rejoin again after you have completed it. "
As it was the fact that a 11:40 start time was given for the apparent second 'written exercise' zoom meeting, led to an expectation (by me!) that you would need to be back there at that time, or at least not be too late, because it was listed as a separate item labelled "written exercise"
No but last year the deadline was the same and first responses came through start of MarchHas anyone heard from Hill Dickinson or know when candidates will hear back?
yes other thing that was slightly off was that the group task was scheduled till 12:00 but we were told '1 minute to go' in the chat (why not use voice!?) at 11:56 and then abruptly cut off at 11:57That's odd - my timetable looked the same, but stated 'Wrap up and Final Questions' in the 11:40 - 12:00 slot, so maybe there was a typo in the timetable sent to your group?

They will be very much used to it - it probably happens 90%+ of the time 😂That is reassuring - thank you! The graduate recruitment team didn't seem too worried about it at the time, I was just initially a little panicked 😅
i keep putting it off because the thought of writing 1800 words is actually drainingDoes anyone know whether Stephenson Harwood recruits on a rolling basis (i.e., does the firm make offers before the final deadline), or does the firm only review on a rolling basis but make final offer decisions after the deadline? I want to apply but the application deadline is next Friday so it’s very likely I won’t finish my application until mid next week (I’m half way through it at the moment).
They review the applications as they come in (and rolling reject them) but don’t make any offers about ACs etc. before the deadline.Does anyone know whether Stephenson Harwood recruits on a rolling basis (i.e., does the firm make offers before the final deadline), or does the firm only review on a rolling basis but make final offer decisions after the deadline?
