anyone heard back from wfw post-vi🥹it's been a solid month since my vi
I didn’t know this was an option. thank you!Paul, Weiss also have a summer scheme so if you’re successful they might let you switch on to that one!
ACs are outanyone heard back from wfw post-vi🥹it's been a solid month since my vi
Thank you. You have been very supportive on here 😁Huge congrats on getting a VS from Akin Gump and an interview for Paul, Weiss. 🥳
When you guys do get in which I know you would. You guys are going to be the FIRST FUTURE TRAINEES OF PAUL, WEISS😆😆😆😆😆💅💅Yeah most likely I imagine they will ask about PE because that’s their main client base and focus in London. In my application I wrote about my interest in IPT transactions and antitrust as well. I’m not sure if I would become a debt finance lawyer but then again, never say never. I might even end up in tax or something lmao. 🤣
haven’t heard anything back from them yetHi guys, has anyone heard back from TLT post AC? (Beyond scheme)
It really does.exactly, no idea why your win feels so personal. all the best
Definitely 😅 I’m going a bit bananas - I saw a company called Morgan Lovell and my brain took me to Hogan Lovells 🤣Does anyone else get worked up by new emails with full names for addresses like "Peter Watson", only to realise it's a marketing gimmick 😭
Also unrelated, did you go to a Russell or non Russell Group universityNot yet. I’m trying to mentally process this whole thing right now. One thing at a time for me. 🥲🥲
Ooh did you hear this somewhere please?I thought cleary AC (post WG)were already fully filled

Hi welcome, and congrats on the VS with Akin and interview with PW.Hi Everyone nervous first time poster! I have been watching the forum for a while and have seen how supportive you all are. I wanted some advice.
I have secured a vacation scheme at Akin Gump and I have got a Paul, Weiss interview. I applied to the spring scheme for Paul, Weiss and I’m panicking that if I’m successful I’ll have to pick between them.
Paul Weiss might be rn prioritising those who applied for only a spring VS (not sure if that was possible), or they will be sending more invitations as they open more AC spots (like a rolling system). Either one would mean that some people who’ll get an AC will have to wait. But I feel like if you haven’t been rejected by this point, it’s a good sign.
However I find this situation very annoying lol 😭
Those with Paul, Weiss interviews, what did you get on the Amberjack SJT?
Do u have an idea how the AC will look likeI did go to a RG uni, but I also went to a comp state school, was eligible for FSM, first gen to go to uni in my family and I have lived on a council estate. The jump from that to doing law at a RG was super intense and scary ngl. 🥲
