Anyone have an idea on how to approach this question? '' How do you expect to use generative AI tools to enhance your effectiveness as a solicitor in the future? If you have, you may also choose to include specific examples of how you have utilised generative AI to elevate part of your application to Shoosmiths, in this answer''. Don't want to overdo AI use as a trainee

Hey @Jessica Booker, hope you are well!

I had a quick question. I had my first-stage interview with Gibson Dunn on Monday 27th of January, and at the end, they told me I will hear back with the outcome within two weeks (so basically yesterday marking 14 days after my interview), but I still haven't heard back...

1) is it a bad sign?
2) should I send a follow-up email or just wait ?

Thanks!

It is not necessarily a bad sign.

The two week period would have only been until yesterday, so I would wait until the end of this week and follow up on Friday if you haven’t heard back by then.

Hi @Jessica Booker / @Amma Usman

If I have a first-stage interview, pass it and then get invited back for a second-stage interview, am I allowed to ask for feedback on my first interview (just to see if I had any weaknesses, despite passing it)? Or is this not really appropriate? I appreciate that this may be dependent on the firm and their own policies, but I just thought I would query

Thank you :)
Yes - you can request this. Some firms might not provide it or may not have much feedback to give you given that you have done well in the assessment, but there is absolutely no harm in asking whether they can.
