Thank you for your response.

Both yours and Jaysen's responses make sense to me. I realise that something as sweeping as my suggestion would probably impact engagement and be counterintuitive.

I agree. It's the odd isolated event, and there is not much you can do about this, bar putting out the flames when it has happened.

Out of curiosity, how do you prevent banned users from signing up again?
There are a number of ways we can work out if someone who has been banned has set up another account. We have recently experienced this with another banned account and were able to review certain information and stop the subsequent accounts from going live.

It is not 100% accurate though and we have had instances where further accounts have been set up successfully. However, even then it often leads to those other accounts being banned within a fairly short space of time. Such people usually don't change their behaviour, tone or language and so its easy to spot them a mile off, whether its through their content or subsequent community reports. We have even had community members flag such instances to us, especially when the banned member hasn't been shy in coming forward that they have been banned previously/are the same person!

We also monitor any accounts where there is a risk that the account is a duplicate from a banned member but where we can't be 100% certain that is the case.

It is one of those things were (fortunately) the community will most likely not see what we are doing successfully in this area.

It isn't full-proof though and sometimes things sneak through. But I must stress its really the community that help us achieve our safe and supportive environment more than anything else - they often pick up things we don't and use the report process appropriately.

Forsters PFO post-VI :( This is the second rejection I've had this cycle after a video interview and I'm worried because I have another one coming up. If anyone who has progressed after a video interview has any advice for me I would really appreciate it.
I have some advice if that helps, not saying I’m an expert at all but I hope this helps! As a caveat I’ve passed 2/3 I have taken this cycle so far and ones for big 4 where I work now in consulting.

If the question asks about skills you think are key to success as a trainee

Go through each example, explain why it’s key and give an example e.g., attention to detail when reviewing documents/contracts and if there is time link back to you and an example of how you have this skill.

If it’s a competency based question star method is key! At the end if you can link back to how the example will help you succeed as a trainee that’s beneficial too.

Try to look at the camera and smile all you can it can ease your nerves.

Does anyone have any pre-AC imposter syndrome advice?

I have my first AC on Tuesday & feeling very much like an imposter & I feel it’s affecting my prep.
Realise everyone else in the AC are probably bigger imposters than you think you are. Even the associates themselves have imposter syndromes than you because it never really leaves completely, it just gets smaller and smaller the more senior you get. Also, there were thousand and thousands of applicants and you managed to be the few that got to the AC- if that's not a sign that you're not an imposter then nothing is.
