has anyone heard back from DWF? saw a reply on here that someone was invited to VI but I haven't heard anything back except confirmation of application
2 days ago with an AC London office.Have you heard back yet - I am still waiting to hear something! Would rather a quick no than all this waiting![]()
Honestly I’m the same so confused why Gibson Dunn haven’t got back to us even if it’s a PFOI am in the same boat and the anxiety is real! I keep comparing myself to other candidates in the forum because I've not heard from any firm since I've completed the applications. E.g Gibson Dunn, I sent this in September and still nothing and I'm feeling frustrated and annoyed because I would also like to feel that I am on the right track with my progress and I am getting the opportunity for an interview. This is my 3rd cycle now and I'm just like ughhhh pls give me an interview. Anyway, you're not alone, perhaps we're all in a similar boat!
Thank you! I applied for Summer, and submitted my application fairly last minute (maybe 2 days before the deadline?)Congrats 🥳
If you don’t mind me asking, when did you send your application to W&C and was it for Spring or Summer?
Yes please that would be great!!is this also for DACB? I was planning on doing it now, could give you insights if it's that
I've had separate rooms for tasks. You can also get extra time. These are generally the adjustments made. They can probably offer other things. I've tried to get Watson Glaser adjustments. However, it's had no real impact.Hi all! Can anyone please give me some insight into the types of adjustments that you can request for assessment centres? Particularly ADHD related adjustments?
I’m still waiting to hear from DWF as well.has anyone heard back from DWF? saw a reply on here that someone was invited to VI but I haven't heard anything back except confirmation of application

I have had adjustments for VI’s where I did a telephone interview instead. I was given extra time to prepare and answer each question. 🙂I've had separate rooms for tasks. You can also get extra time. I think I’m cooked for W&C then. 🤣💀Thank you! I applied for Summer, and submitted my application fairly last minute (maybe 2 days before the deadline?)
Same 😭I think I’m cooked for W&C then. 🤣💀
I applied on the 5th Jan and still haven’t heard anything. I applied for both Spring and Summer because I’m just too indecisive. 🥲🥲
Thank you both, @chrisbrown @Tintin06 this is extremely helpful!I have had adjustments for VI’s where I did a telephone interview instead. I was given extra time to prepare and answer each question. 🙂
I spoke with the graduate recruitment team members at HSF and HL about ADHD related adjustments at a law fair and they mentioned they give you breaks between each assessment at an AC. 🙂
There are probably other adjustments you can request as long as they are reasonable.
It’s not a VI, the next stage is an interview on zoom.I'm a bit confused, do Cooley send out the video interview to everyone who reaches the benchmark or will they review apps again?
I’m assuming that though, for them to invite you to WG, it must be possible for you to get a score which means you’re likely to get an interview (which is a good way of looking at it!)It’s not a VI, the next stage is an interview on zoom.
They’ve already marked our applications before inviting people to the WG so I think they will look at those marks in conjunction with your WG score to decide who to interview.
i wouldnt worry too much yet, i received my AC a month after completing the VII attended a W&C Open Day in 2024 and also received a VI invite on 3rd Jan. It was my first ever VI, and I completed the VI on 6th Jan - I haven't heard back since. What does that normally mean? Rejection or waitlist?
