I definitely think you should consider writing about the firm globally and as a whole, as their serious presence in London has just been established and thus there will not be much historical work you can reference. Moreover, I think this question is inviting you to discuss Paul, Weiss' broader strategy as a firm and how the London expansion features into it. Thus, I think it would make for a more insightful analysis if you also mentioned its origins as a white show litigation specialist who has already undergone a revolution post-2008 by heavily investing into becoming a leading player in transactional sphere as well. Since this transformation has been widely recognized as a remarkable success, that could fit well within a broader narrative about Paul, Weiss' entrepreneurial edge. On that point, for a more detailed analysis of the firm's history, strategy, and expansions, take a look at the Paul, Weiss profile I wrote during the summer.
Argh, I only saw this today. I only mentioned their PE and litigation work generally, but all the examples of cases I referenced, including pro bono work, relate to deals in the US. I did not mention their broader expansion as part of their strategy but it could be inferred I guess. Fingers crossed.

I just logged into Vantage through Clifford Chance and it somehow just submitted an application I filled out a few weeks ago (but not ready for submission). No clue how, pressed log in and it said application submitted! There's no way to withdraw it that I can see, so does anybody know where I can contact to let them know to disregard my application? I decided against applying for it anyway, so it isn't like I need to withdraw to re-submit. Thank you! Currently panicking haha

Hi,
This happened to me with one of my applications.
I directly sent an email to the graduate recruitment team of the firm. They were very understanding and put my form back as if it had not been submitted. May be it's worth sending an email.

Thank you! Assumed this would be the way forward, but it's great to hear confirmation. I've just found the email address and reached out now

Posting this again as I think it got lost...
Also, if anyone from the aspiring solicitors group has any insights or connections willing to share I'd be grateful and if I secure anything I promise to pass it on! <3

Hi @Andrei Radu , @Amma Usman @Jaysen
Hope you're well.
Could please provide some insights into Macfarlanes AC? Especially for those who haven't been on ACs before.
More specifically, for group exercise, written exercise, business case study, competency interview, how to best prepare and practice? Thank you so much.

I also had this when logging in but for another form - think it is poor design on Vantage’s part 😂

That happened to me the other day with a different firm just email and say what happened and they’ll un-submit it back to you

Hey guys! Currently doing an application which asks for a covering letter (to be typed into the application form) in addition to questions on the application form which cover aspects of what I would put on a covering letter ("why firm X?"/"why commercial law?")- does anyone have any guidance on how I might spread this out? Obviously all questions need to be answered well but I'm worried about repeating myself.
