I know that why I’m worried.

Should I email them and ask if I can have my application back since the deadline is the 19th so they won’t have looked at them yet?

Then I can correct me rookie mistakes. 🫡😭

Honestly, don't worry at all. I am sure I have made at least 10 errors in my applications for which I got ACs with, and I even secured a Vac Scheme despite my jarring spelling errors. Just have faith in the rest of your application and what is meant for you will always come by! So don't worry and you got this for sure

No and I reread their email and they said you’ll hear back within 6 weeks. I guess they’re still moving through some apps to sjt/VI and then they’ll decide

I have just read my application to Paul, Weiss.

In at least 3 places, I forgot to put the , between Paul, Weiss. 😂🥲

In most parts (95%) I have included it.

I read through my application so many times to avoid this mistake and I still made it. 😂🥲

Hopefully they will let it slide or perhaps not and I’m cooked. 😞

So yes, I agree to never edit in the actual application form. 💀😭

At least they can rule out AI usage. 🫡

might or might not help, but I run all my apps through chat gpt for a spelling, grammar + firm name spelt correctly check right before I send them in. I always say to make any corrections bold and include a summary of any changes at the end. You can pick and choose which changes you want to add into the application rather than copying it straight from chat gpt and then editing - avoids the american spelling and just silly things that it would do!

Idk how to feel… I thought it was going to be 40mins so the 30mins threw me off a little. Other than that I did the best I could but had no time to check my all my answers. How did you find it?

To be honest this is tricky because BCLP’s application for SVS has 4 x 500 word long answer questions (2,000 words overall). 🥲

If you feel that you can write a strong written application I would go for it but with the short time frame left it will definitely take superhero abilities. 🥲

The deadline is the 17th of Jan and BCLP recruits on a rolling basis. I think it’s definitely possible to still apply but it will be a challenge. Best of luck!! 🫡

If you are eligible you can apply for their direct TC which is open until March or May this year.

I can’t remember the exact dates. 🫡

I applied for the TC too close to deadline given they were non-rolling but there hasn't been any update yet. I think I heard about some people on this forum getting ACs but I may be hallucinating lol

I did my W&C VI early first week of Jan and have not heard back since, have any of you got news about AC or not heard back yet? Curious to know was WC is a priority firm for me. I have also seen threads they are absolutely the worst when it comes to getting back to people.

They really like applicants that make sure everyone in their group is heard, so if someone is a little quieter, ask them their thoughts

Don’t be nervous to ask for some time (a quick break) to discuss with your teams if the negotiation seems to be ramping up

Make sure to be one of the people keeping an eye on time and loudly stating this; “5 minutes left…”

Ensure that you come to an agreement/settlement THAT is the most important thing than your group being the “winner”
