Hi @Jessica Booker, @Andrei Radu, I have an interview with a firm tomorrow and I have been thinking about the questions I would like to ask the interviewer (who is a member of the grad rec team). I want to ask questions that I want to know the answers to but I also don't want the questions to be such that grad rec thinks I could have found answers to on my own on further research into the firm.

Below are some of the options, please could you share if you think these would be ok to ask?

  • If you had to point out one common trait among all the firm's trainees, what would it be? How does the firm support trainees further develop that trait?
  • What has been the reason for you to join and stay at the firm?
  • I know the firm focuses a lot on pro bono work – how exactly do lawyers get to get involved in pro bono work – is it through attending legal clinics or taking a pro bono client like you would take a regular client?

What was the Paul, Weiss email about? I plan on applying and I thought the deadline was non-rolling? Thank you.
It was just a reminder about the application deadline which is the 19th January.

Paul, Weiss is non-rolling so you can still apply but just try to get your application in at least a few hours in advance of the deadline to avoid technical difficulties.

Does anyone have subscribed access to Bloomberg? I am unable to access the link "https://news.bloomberglaw.com/busin...gthens-grip-on-shifting-m-a-deals-leaderboard" because I don't have a subscription. Could @Andrei Radu or @Amma Usman please confirm if they can access the information about Kirkland and Ellis maintaining its position as one of the top 10 Global Legal Advisors for M&A in 2024, based on deal value and deal count?
I think others would cover this. Happens with The Lawyer articles too. If you Google the headline maybe. That usually works well for me. Thomson Reuters might have covered it.
