is this for the summer vacation scheme?? I attended their first-year insight day last year and havent heard anything regarding my application for the summer vs...has anyone here ever done a second stage interview at gibson dunn? if so, what kind of things should be prepared (other than standard why the firm, why law...)?

was this for the summer vacation scheme? if yes, was it the dual degree one for London and Paris?Yes, although I applied fairly early (mid October).
tbf i also applied rlly early so not necessarily hahadamn, I'm guessing that I can expect a Christmas and New Year PFO gift 😂 😂
If I am not mistaken, I would strongly recommend NRF since they say on their UK careers page, lest I be mistaken, "[w]e don’t recruit on a rolling basis so ensure to take your time when writing your application"; so I suppose you should! However, Baker and Hogan might be a bit tougher since they review on rolling basis; I am hopeful that they might potentially still look at last minute applications, so you never know...Is it still worth applying to baker mckenzie, nrf and hogan lovells or should I direct my time elsewhere?
no! I applied on the 11th of October!!! 😂 😂 😂 😂tbf i also applied rlly early so not necessarily haha
No, I applied for the spring vacation schemewas this for the summer vacation scheme? if yes, was it the dual degree one for London and Paris
i applied mid-september and it is the xmas period rn tbf, so it might still comeno! I applied on the 11th of October!!! 😂 😂 😂 😂
They're rolling basis, so by now I think it would be too tough; in order to be strategic, you could just apply next cycle (I don't remember if they asked if we have previously applied, but if they do, it would be better to wait it out to not put yourself at a disadvantage..)Any point in applying to Kirkland at this point?
Thank you, saved me my night!! Alternatively, do you think Gibson Dunn would be too late now? They're rolling basis, so by now I think it would be too tough; in order to be strategic, you could just apply next cycle (I don't remember if they asked if we have previously applied, but if they do, it would be better to wait it out to not put yourself at a disadvantage..)
