Attended Wombles info session

They say that they focus on strength-based questions, not looking for legal geniuses. E.g., "how would you cope with a client who complained?", etc.

They never look at exam grades.

Essentially:

1. you apply: no distinguishing data such as grades, are taken, which is intended to maximise diverse candidates.
2. you do the blended assessment (SJT, verbal + numerical reasoning). This is pass/fail, but they didn't disclose the required scores. They said you can take as long as you like, multiple sittings. and it doesn't affect things at all.
3. you go on to 15-minute telephone interview + virtual assessment centre, then VS with final interview

They might offer earlier TC dates than the standard 2 years but it's unlikely. They will sponsor overseas candidates.
this is amazing thank you so much for writing this! was there any mention of when to expect to hear back post-test?

Hi guys, does anybody have experience/advice in completing the Assessment Centre for Linklaters' Vacation Scheme that they would be willing to share?

I have experience at AO Shearman, CMS, Reed Smith, and Dechert that I would be happy to give in return.

    Thanks.
Hi super sorry I don’t have any experience but wanted to check if you could share what the slots are looking like? Are they quite full/is there only a few days etc.?
Thank you and all the best 🍀
