Last year: 36 VSers, 11 TCs.Hi! Does anyone know approximately how many vacation scheme participants there are in total for Ropes & Gray (across both spring and summer)? @Tintin06 would you happen to know by any chance?
I’m mainly interested in their VS/TC conversion ratethanks in advance
Last year it was all in one go looking at the 2023/24 forum so bracing for a PFO. The email I got after submitting makes it seem like we won’t hear back for a while.Congratulations to all those who received the V&E VIs! From past years - did they send them all in one go or over several days? Thank you!
I am genuinely curious as to why you would reapply to firms where you already did vac schemes?Well 2 firms I did vac schemes for last year both rejected me at the early stages, proves my theory that you only get one chance at these firms... I'd prefer if the recruiters dont BS about it though
They might have really liked the firm and wanted to shoot their shot again. I know someone who was not offered a TC after completing Hogan's VS so they applied again the next cycle and was offered oneI am genuinely curious as to why you would reapply to firms where you already did vac schemes?
Me!Anyone else didn't receive a confirmation email after submitting their application to Winston & Strawn?
It’s really not that weirdI am genuinely curious as to why you would reapply to firms where you already did vac schemes?
Quite often grad rec or partners tell you to reapply if they liked you, maybe this happened hereI am genuinely curious as to why you would reapply to firms where you already did vac schemes?
Because when a recruiter encourages you to re-apply it would be silly to not try againI am genuinely curious as to why you would reapply to firms where you already did vac schemes?
You can probably write an application pretty quickly and tailor it to the firm (as you’ve experienced working there) so like, why not, if it can be a quick application.I am genuinely curious as to why you would reapply to firms where you already did vac schemes?
Ahh, so it’s not a generic thing they say?Because when a recruiter encourages you to re-apply it would be silly to not try again
No, they definitely just say it for the sake of it, in both feedback calls I asked if I should reapply and they both said “yes we encourage to reapply again”, it saves everyone time if they just say you can’tAhh, so it’s not a generic thing they say?
Reread your cv because my interview consisted of them grilling me on an EPQ I did 5 years ago for half the interview. The article is very random be sure to debate pretty much anything!any insights/tips for slaughter & may interview? would be very grateful!!
