If this helps, I also submitted the WG. I submitted my application on the 2nd of Jan and received WG invitation on the 6th.hi i’m still waiting for the assessment for VS. do you mind telling me when you submitted your app?
thank you i can’t lie im a bit scared that they’re taking too long to send it. maybe i should just assume a PFO and move onIf this helps, I also submitted the WG. I submitted my application on the 2nd of Jan and received WG invitation on the 6th.
Same here I applied around mid Dec and did the WGT just before xmas and haven’t heard anything since. 🤷🏾♂️Nope on the vac scheme for HL, and I completed the application and WG.

I would do both. I did both for K&E and received a VI invite so assuredly there’s no issue. As such, I think the same for Freshfields is fine. For the Freshfields app, there is a work experience section as part of the vantage form but there is also space for a CV to be uploaded (optionally). Would it make sense to do both since it just stick to one of them?
I am quite certain that WG is a part of their screening process. They said during the Open Day that they only review the application after you pass the test. I wouldn't assume a PFO just yet. However, moving on and not thinking too much about it is, in my opinion, a good approach.thank you i can’t lie im a bit scared that they’re taking too long to send it. maybe i should just assume a PFO and move on

HiIdeally, put all this law-related experience (open days, events etc) in the work experience section.
I think extracurriculars are for leisure activities, positions, and (sometimes) awards
Hi, it’s probably best to group them all under one experience entry.Hi
I have never thought about adding those for firms I did not do the open day/event for.
Do you add them all or make a selection (and if so how.... I am so confused 😅)
Thank you ! I will do that from now onHi, it’s probably best to group them all under one experience entry.
Vac schemes should be their own work experience section. But open days and events can be grouped together.
Highlighting all the events and open days that you’ve attended (even at other firms) helps show your commitment to a career in law.
You can also expand on what you enjoyed to then strengthen your interest in the firm that you applying to.
Hope this helps!
I got a PFO from MdR a while ago, so if you haven't heard anything, perhaps they are still considering you.i applied for mishcon back in late november and havent heard anything since - i've seen some people mention VIs - should i assume PFO?
How did it go?Anyone completed Freshfeilds WG? I need to discuss how it went 😂 I thought you were allowed 40mins not 30???
