any1 still waiting to hear back from Gibson Dunn, Weil and Paul Weis post initial app?
deadline for spring was 6/11 and summer is 08/01 - just so that no one reading this gets confusedi believe it's 6/01 for spring; 8/01 for both summer schemes
paul, weiss' deadline on the 19th and they're non-rolling. considered the amount of applications they're gonna get this year i dont think anyone will get responses until mid feb at leastany1 still waiting to hear back from Gibson Dunn, Weil and Paul Weis post initial app?
thank you!it is always worth it, never take yourself out of the running, especially with a strong connection like you have!! as for the automatically screening out thing, i know mishcon encourages reapplying, some of their trainees got there on their 2nd/3rd attempt. go apply!!!
Well done! How did you prepare for the cappfinity test? I always struggle with thoseKennedys VI invite! First time passing the Cappfinity test 🥳
Gosh that was a bad mistake from me 😅 apologies to anyone who read that & thank you @safari3 for correcting me (and doing so graciously!) 🤝deadline for spring was 6/11 and summer is 08/01 - just so that no one reading this gets confused
is it worth applying to mission's vacation scheme (deadline is today, ready to submit)? it's non-rolling but ik it's the last day and idk if it's true that applicants who've previously applied to law firms unsuccessfully can be automatically screened out...
I also completed work experience with them via an organisation so I've been super picky about my application hence why it's so late...
LMAOOOOO I legit just finished it. i rushed it because I was expecting different sections, like numerical and diagram tests but then it was just a couple of questions and I was like why the hell did I rushAG test is... interesting
The worst thing AG did was implementing that test in their app process. This is a rant but it could just be that I am thicccc.
Why do firms literally mention one thing in their 'you have a test to complete' email but then the structure is almost ALWAYS different? I got an email to this practice hub for AG and there were numerical, verbal and diagram sections to prepare and practice. The actual test was literally like 5 questions and all verbal/WG type.![]()
yeah no for real? and their application form was so short what are they judging us on?? I think they place a lot of weight on critical thinking tests which is just 💀same for simmons -- they don't have any app questions and it's just an online test pretty much. The worst thing AG did was implementing that test in their app process.

ohh flexxxxI got 99th percentile on CC's WG and I feel like I failed this test 😭
I don't even know if it was hard or not, it felt like it wasn't that hard but the whole thing just caught me off guard lol.
Comforting to know I am not alone in thinking that test was rough! The worst thing AG did was implementing that test in their app process.
