If you have emailed twice, I don’t think there is value in emailing again. I don’t think there is anything to worry about - I suspect they will come back to you to confirm detail in time.I applied for King+Spalding's Insight Day and was rejected due to a lack of space. However, in the same email they invited me to their second virtual insight day being held later if I was to be interested. I emailed back in earnest last week (when I got the email) and sent a follow up yesterday since I have still not received an email back from them. Should I be worried or wait a little more (the virtual Insight Day deadline is in December anyways).
No - you won’t be eligible for the vacation scheme unfortunately. I think the wording for the graduate workshop is just a mistake with referring to the summer vacation scheme. So for the Freshfields graduate workshop they advertise that they'll - 'Show you what life as commercial lawyer is like, and what sets us apart from other firms, so you can make a confident decision on whether to apply for a vacation scheme or the trainee associate programme.'
However the vacation scheme for Freshfields states that 'You’re eligible to apply for the Summer Vacation Scheme if you are a penultimate-year undergraduate student studying any degree discipline.'
Could someone confirm whether a graduate can apply to the vacation scheme or am I limited to applying straight to the TC? Thanks!
Where can you find this on their website? It was my first time doing Artic shores and I failed that catastrophically so a chance for a re-do would be ideaaallYeah, I only became aware of this by a post in this thread this morning haha
The website says ‘We’ll read applications as they come in but won’t fill our assessment centre places before the deadline closes.’Is osborne clarke VS rolling?
My interpretation of this question is that it could be both, as they haven't explicitly mentioned it needs to be focused on a new regulation.Hi, for the question "Please choose a recent (less than 12 months) development in UK/European news. How are such developments relevant for Skadden’s clients? (max 250)", does it need to focus specifically on a new regulation, or would discussing commercial trends also be appropriate?
hey im so sorry to hear that
Ngl it seems pretty self-explanatory...to confirm - if i have passed the CC WG last application cycle do i need to redo this year? according to this website it says "Once you successfully complete a Watson Glaser assessment, we save your score for 2 recruitment cycles so there is no requirement to re-complete the test within this time frame." anyone have experience with this?
I’m not sure if you can re-do arctic shores, all it says on the website is that they accept applications in the same calendar year if you did not get an ac. I’m still seeking clarification myself if this means I can now reapply for summer having been rejected for winterWhere can you find this on their website? It doesn’t have to be regulation. It can be anything that has been in the , so if that is a trend, that is fine too.Hi, for the question "Please choose a recent (less than 12 months) development in UK/European news.
