thanks for the reply! I understand what you mean but also I am thinking if submitting for the summer vacation scheme would increase my chances of progressing as the deadline is much farther away?If you've finished it and the deadline is the end of the month, submit it? Can't win the lottery without buying a ticket
The deadline will always be short for winter. Give it a go, then move on to your next applicationthanks for the reply! I understand what you mean but also I am thinking if submitting for the summer vacation scheme would increase my chances of progressing as the deadline is much farther away?
Makes sense! I will give it a go, thanks. The deadline will always be short for winter. Give it a go, then move on to your next application
which AC did you get? CongratsGuys! I just got invited to my first-ever AC!
Screaming, crying, throwing up
Thank you, this is very helpful. It's a 'good friends' network with Macfarlanes, 'best friends' is Slaughter and May. They can choose any firm they want - this is the advantage over having an office there. Plus it's an acknowledgement, I think, of the other firms' expertise e.g. Slaughter and May has worked with Paul, Weiss. Source: I tried saying 'best friends' network to a Macfarlanes Partner.
HSF Winter! Shocked as I thought they were done with ACswhich AC did you get? Congrats
Yes definitely submit it, I have had success with late applications for 'rolling' firms in the past.HEY, it's my first time posting on here. I am hoping to get a quick response as the matter is a bit urgent. I am applying for the Hogan Lovells Winter Vacation scheme 2024. They recruit on a rolling basis and their applications close on 31 October. I am nearly done with my application and plan on submitting it tomorrow i.e. one week before the deadline. Is it worth submitting the application this close to a rolling deadline? or should I instead apply for the summer vacation scheme as it has the same application but deadline is in January? I would prefer to apply for the winter scheme but I am afraid most places might be filled/ progressed to the next steps already.
I haven’t heard of HL progressing anyone past WG yet for WVS anyways so go for itHEY, it's my first time posting on here. I am hoping to get a quick response as the matter is a bit urgent. Just got a rejection email from DLA post the online assessment, not the greatest feeling. My performance on the test was not good. I need to practice more Watson Glaser tests.
