First ever assessment centre tomorrow- the nerves 😆
Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!
Plenty of people do it, but equally many don’t. It is not an issue either way. After attending a vac scheme with an assessment centre included is it common courtesy to send a thank you email to grad rec?
I wouldn't automatically assume its a rejection - there could be delays in getting back to people for multiple reasons! If I had a final interview last Wednesday (5th June) and still haven’t heard back, should I assume that I’ve been rejected?
For context, they told me I will hear back this week and that their final rounds of interview was last week
Should I email them for an update?I wouldn't automatically assume its a rejection - there could be delays in getting back to people for multiple reasons!
Since its the weekend, I would personally just wait until early next week as it is likely you will hear back then!Should I email them for an update?

If its two weeks before it starts, I would expect it to be a no - onboarding processes would easily take more than two weeks. As the GLP Diversity Scheme starts on the 1st of July - two weeks from now, I'm assuming I have a PFO as I have not heard back on the outcome of my application.
Has anyone who has applied heard back from Aspiring Solicitors? I think it's awful how they don't provide a timeline for what happens after application deadlines, or updates of If applications are still being reviewed. I've emailed for more support and have been aired on both occasions. When I'm not even provided feedback on application, I at least deserve strong communication from the people if I have any queries.
I have seen on LinkedIn one person say that they have an offer the scheme.
