For which?I applied on 31st (deadline) and have just received a VI.
assuming PFO now lolI applied on 31st (deadline) and have just received a VI.
Why do you say it is cancelled? What are people doing who applied for Shearman's summer scheme, given that it is seemingly cancelled now?
I also loved how their website advises you to take time to prepare for the aptitude test and familiarise yourself with it but then gives you absolutely no details about what their bespoke test involves.Same as you, had attended several events but condensing the form by that much just felt like a waste
It’s not the best thing to do but it’s actually pretty common for firms whose name is not obvious. It really depends on how badly you are pronouncing it.If I pronounced a firms name completely wrong in a VI, is this an automatic PFO?
The first one is more about why you will enjoy inputting into the work, whilst the second is more about what you will get out of doing that work. How do these two questions differ? Arent they both asking why you want to be a commercial lawyer?
and how would i go about answering these questions.
Any tips or insight would be greatly appreciated.

If it is the same as last year then you have to do the verbal reasoning test by 15/01. But it doesn't take too long, an hour should be enough. For Osborne Clarke, it says we will be sent a verbal reasoning test after submitting our application, does anyone know if this means we also have to complete the test by the deadline (15/01/2024)?
