I had my AC on Monday, heard back yesterday afternoon via email!Congrats!! How long did they take to get back to you? And was it via email?
Please let me know if you get any advice on itHill Dickinson assessment invite! Was waiting forever for that one. Does anyone have any advice for an Amberjack assessment? It is my first time doing one and from what I have read on this forum, I should be wary of it
Monday at 11! I reckon they will send another batch of invites next Wednesday because they will wait to see if someone cannot make it / doesn’t confirm their place.congrats! Can I ask when you did your ac?
For me I am going to gain some experience in the coming months and reapply for the vacation schemes in the next cycle. For those who got no VS this year, are you planning to apply to direct TC? Thanks
I think you are right. Especially with my finals coming in 2 months, it might be best for me to drop everything now and focus on my study to hopefully get a 1st. I might consider to apply for some summer intern outside law to gain some experience or maybe a placement year. For me I am going to gain some experience in the coming months and reapply for the vacation schemes in the next cycle.
In the meantime I will also work on the areas where I lacked this cycle e.g. VIs and the WG. I thought about direct tcs so I might fill in maybe two applications but I will focus mainly on the VS for the next cycle and how I can make my application better.
What about you?
I agree, as I am a recent graduate I don't have any exams to take but I think internships or any job law/non-law is something that can help me make my CV better and increase my chances.I think you are right. If I were to apply for direct TC, maybe it's best to apply for those with deadlines after my finals.
Unfortunately the firm cannot do anything about this, so I would just wait to see the outcome from the assessment.I need advice ... I recently took a verbal reasoning for a law firm -right before to the test I did many examples tests at the same space (like for a good 4 hours ) although initially the environment was suitable for taking the test, when I started there were noises/distractons out of my control that affected my performance in the first half of the assessment- would you recommend me to get in touch with the firm/ or would it be a bad impression/ or accept the defeat
Some firms way ask for confirmation of your grades before making your offer but some will wait until the onboarding processes start for the role.do firms need to confirm your grades with your referee before they make an offer for a VS? @Jessica Booker @axelbeugre
Thank you! I've sent you a DM so we can have a chat about itCongratulations! How was your AC? Are there any specific things you did that you think ticked their boxes? I did an AC and didn’t get it even though I thought I did well
Hi, no i have been invited but not completed it yet, have you?Has anyone completed BDB Pitmans' VI?
Yes - that wouldn’t be an issue as although it is a seperate jurisdiction, the two are very similar to one another.@Jessica Booker Hi Jessica, I was wondering if I'd be eligible to apply for a paralegal vacancy in Belfast if I've studied English law only? Thanks!
