So you could talk about a previous career and how elements of this have influenced your decisionIt doesn't need to be a role nor directly related to commercial law - it can be any element that has pushed you towards the career.
Yes meHas anyone not heard from Gibson? I applied on the 7th of Jan (I realise their deadline was 16th of Jan, and it's rolling oops)
It could literally be anything - what you have read, studied, the extra curriculars you have done, work experience, previous careers etc.So you could talk about a previous career and how elements of this have influenced your decision

I did mine around the same time maybe they’re just replying in batches?Hi, I did my VI about 3 weeks ago but also still waiting. I'm worried too. Unsure if its just because they're super busy right now or it is just a bad sign
Is there an alternative route on another provider?FML the whole train operator that I was supposed to be with to travel for my AC tomorrow is cancelling most of the trains. @Jessica Booker Should I just email/call the firm to let them know that I may not be able to make the interview? Would they be understanding?
Yes but depends on your profile. Magic Circle seem to have slightly different selection “criteria” IMO.I thought it may have just been my experience, but does anybody else find it easier to get further/offers for vac schemes off of US firms, as opposed to Magic Circle & HSF.
Starting to wonder whether I'm on some sort of magic circle blacklist
Hey, that's interesting! What's the difference you've observed?Yes but depends on your profile. Magic Circle seem to have slightly different selection “criteria” IMO.
