Guessing this means I have passed the SJT, and now they read my app?

does this PFO mean that we didnt clear the SJT or that they reviewed application post clearing SJT? im guessing its the former given the less timeframe they have taken to get back

Same, Freshfields PFO. I thought I had a great SJT, but maybe my application wasnt't up to standard. For transparency, my strongest were collaboration, resilience, and adaptability.

Me too! I'm so sorry. Can I ask how you guys feel about the Watson Glaser Critical Thinking? Obvs that was a small part of the SJT, and I've struggled with it historically. I'm hoping that it wasn't the reason why I was rejected as I've been practising it a lot, but if it's something we all struggle with then that would make sense.

I’m very good at Watson Glaser. Gutted FF have added this SJT man and don’t give me the chance to score 97% again. Absolutely done me over adding this.

Unlikely to be the rejection for me - especially as the WG type elements on the SJT were the easier sections.

I probably didn’t do great on the English test.

Futile skill to possess though when barely any firms use WG!! I would swap my WG abilities for the ability to pass VI in a heartbeat.

What's the point of going to open days and doing Forage if they won't even look at your app if you're not 'resilient' enough or whatever. Would have applied for a VS if I'd have known I could have avoided the stupid test that way.

don't think you can read too much into this, i'm also waiting to hear back & my strengths were personal responsibility, growth, and adaptability, and my weakness was judgement which doesn't seem like a great mix tbh

For firms that offer VS route and TC route even if they have similar deadlines I am assuming those who applied for the TC wait a lot longer to hear back as most firms fill up VS first and then once that is done do they begin to assess those who applied for direct?

I can assume the specific firm may change the answer but just as a general idea for me thanks!

I think I got the same strengths as you (definitely collaboration and communicator), my weakness was judgement.

I’m still waiting for my PFO, or at least it doesn’t appear I was in the first batch.

A considerable number of firms will wait until after their summer vacation scheme offers. However, that's not all firms, as each have their own policy. I know for sure that Hogan Lovells' order for offering TCs is: Winter Scheme > Direct TC > Summer 1 > Summer 2
