When is it generally best to submit direct TC applications for firms whose deadlines are in July/August. Do places fill up early or if the ACs and next stages are all in the summer, would it be ok to submit closer to the deadline?

I hail mary'd freshfields on the summer deadline and it was fine. Really depends if rolling or not

I haven't received a PFO yet and the grad rec stated that I had passed the WG. Should I remain optimistic? Also, do you know if they send AC invites or PFOs in batches?

I just emailed them after I took the test. So like Feb second week.

Is Hogan WG known to be hard ? Heard the percentile is 18% but it seems difficult to score a high percentile.

I emailed them after my pfo, they said the pass is 18th percentile, I scored well above so it obviously isn't that important as long as you can get over the baseline

I received that I passed the WG test as well. They told me you will hear back in April.

Yeah for me they just said, I passed the 18 percentile score and that I will hear in due course. I applied on the 31st Jan.

No I wouldn’t! They would have rejected you by now if you performed poorly in the WG!

It really depends if it is rolling recruitment or not. If it is, I would try to apply by the end of June if you can or when you get any results (assuming you are studying currently), but if it is non rolling recruitment then it really won’t matter when you apply.

I applied to a firm for a VS and managed to get past the application round but pfo after VI. I am applying to the same firm for TC during the same cycle because the firm allows that. In this case, would I need to make changes to my application/cover letter? or is it ok for me to submit the same one?
