Hi! Anyone have advice for the strengths-based interview I have with Mayer Brown? I’m not quite sure what strength-based questions involve
Hey, I would advise you to be really aware of what motivates you, how you exercise emotional intelligence and communication skills, I think it's quite a personal and non-standard interview from my experience in December. They ask some odd and vague questions and you can't ask for their interpretation of the question because they also test how you interpret vague questions.Hi! I have been waiting for soooo long.....I don’t even remember all the firms I have applied to
Awww it’s done now! How long did you have for additional comments?Ugh, just submitted a VI. I feel like I gave four strong answers and then buggered it by waffling for the "any additional comments?" question at the end...
Two minutes. I used half of it - it wasn't good! 😅 Completely threw me off.Awww it’s done now! How long did you have for additional comments?
I was a few years ago. I applied for an Open Day, I contacted them they day before saying I assumed I'd been rejected because it was the next day and they'd not let me know. They eventually responded to me four months after the Open Day to say that I'd not been successfully (well, duh!). I think they might just be a bit of a ghost-y firm from my experience.Anyone else being ghosted by SH?
Congrats! Could I ask which office you applied for?Just got the tests and video interview for CRS! Anyone else too? And has anyone done these before?
That’s actually quite long!!! Without being specific, what type of questions did you prep for?Two minutes. I used half of it - it wasn't good! 😅 Completely threw me off.

Well I have a lot of interviews coming up so I've got quite a lot of prep on competencies, etc. Apart from that, just prepping on my knowledge of the firm and its clients. The questions were fairly standard really! That’s actually quite long!!! Without being specific, what type of questions did you prep for?
