I think the VS closed about a month ago and people got the WG in February (not sure though as I did not apply to Orrick).

For those that have had their PW interview already, did anyone manage to ask when we would hear back (either acceptance/PFO)? I did ask, but the answer was so vague ('as soon as')... wondering if anyone else had better luck lol.

Paul told me that everyone will hear back by the end of next week

Have you heard anything from Paul Hastings?

I think they said in the automatic email after submitting the application that they would get back to us over March and April with invitations to interview. They don't send out PFO, meaning if you don’t hear from them with an interview, it is safe to assume a PFO.

Got that Ropes rejection later in the day. This is me done as realistically PW, K&L Gates and MoFo are going to be rejections at this point and the direct TCs left are pretty pointless applying for - need a career path other than being a lawyer I guess, if anyone has any helpful insight there then please let me know as I have no clue where my life is going now

I think it’s been mainly Spring VS and people who put both Spring and Summer. However, I know a few people who applied for Summer VS only who received interview invites. Paul, Weiss might have more interviews to send out for Summer VS tbh. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back from them! 🙂​

I think your answer should be pretty firm specific.

Most firms have their own distinctive identity and won’t want to be grouped together as an ‘American firm’ surely?

You’re more likely to be asked what other firms you applied to and why in an interview, if there’s a reason why you chose English firms maybe bring that up

Has anyone heard back from AG yet/received PFO emails within the past few weeks? I’ve only seen people receive AC invitations here and there but not rejection emails which is strange considering they told us we would hear back 10 weeks from the application deadline (which would be by the 17th March).
