Got that Ropes rejection later in the day. This is me done as realistically PW, K&L Gates and MoFo are going to be rejections at this point and the direct TCs left are pretty pointless applying for - need a career path other than being a lawyer I guess, if anyone has any helpful insight there then please let me know as I have no clue where my life is going now

Does anyone know if PW interviews were only people who had put spring availability or if people who applied for only summer got invites too?

I think it’s been mainly Spring VS and people who put both Spring and Summer. However, I know a few people who applied for Summer VS only who received interview invites. Paul, Weiss might have more interviews to send out for Summer VS tbh. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back from them! 🙂​

I think your answer should be pretty firm specific.

Most firms have their own distinctive identity and won’t want to be grouped together as an ‘American firm’ surely?

You’re more likely to be asked what other firms you applied to and why in an interview, if there’s a reason why you chose English firms maybe bring that up

Has anyone heard back from AG yet/received PFO emails within the past few weeks? I’ve only seen people receive AC invitations here and there but not rejection emails which is strange considering they told us we would hear back 10 weeks from the application deadline (which would be by the 17th March).

I haven't heard back (applied on the deadline day) but someone told me they've received an offer already (and their AC was in Jan) - at this point I'm assuming they've given out all ACs but I could be wrong. Lots of firms just prolong their mass PFOs for some reason

Is this Addleshaw? If yes, where did they say 17th March please? I’ve not heard anything since doing the VI early Jan but haven’t followed up as I do remember someone saying on the thread they received an automatic holding response

Don't think so, as this is the 3rd and last week of interviews with decisions by mid-March.
