Reread your cv because my interview consisted of them grilling me on an EPQ I did 5 years ago for half the interview. The article is very random be sure to debate pretty much anything!

A news story that you have to debate about and pick sides on. Could be on any topic really. I did my interview last year so I’m not sure if it’s changed since then but it’s been like this for a few years.

hey guys - when a firm is running two separate vacation scheme dates - ie a June and July scheme - would picking the later one affect my chances of securing the TC in anyway?

I don’t think it would otherwise they wouldn’t be holding two VS’s in the first place. It could be that they wait until both VS’s finish before making final TC offers. 🙂

The one thing I can think of is that doing a SVS normally means a later start date. WVS is usually only for law and non-law finalists and graduates who can begin their TC earlier whereas SVS includes those in their penultimate year (plus law and non-law finalists and graduates). 🙂

I think firms bear in mind they have multiple VS so won’t make all their offers for TC following a earlier VS.

I think @Jessica Booker can provide better insight into this though!
