Sorry about this :(. If you don’t mind me asking when did u do the test?

On your point, I think it depends from firm to firm and loads of people progress without any legal experience in some firms and some firms may require legal experience! It’s worth a shot to apply anyways.
Applied on 31st March and test done on 7th April. My top strengths are Incisive and Explainer but probably not the ones the firm is looking for. I have no idea but since I won't have chance to apply for this firm again I'll just let it be 😭.

They are unbelievably quick at reviewing applications! I wonder if they got fewer applications this year?
I think they were reviewing applications as they were coming in but didn’t make any final decisions until deadline day to give all applicants a chance before shortlisting but I also hope they didn’t get too many apps😂

ahh I’m sorry :(

Wait, you can’t apply to withers again if they reject you in a cycle or is it more like an unsaid fact?

I did the test on 3rd march and haven’t heard back, expecting a pfo soon I guess :(
I got -
Strengths - relationship builder and explainer
Weakness - initiative

No I said I won't have chance bc of my personal situation, not the firm.
I think it's a good sign that you haven’t received anything yet! Good luck. Wish you get invited to the AC!

Guys guys, I'm just curious, does anyone know how long the assessment centre at Shoosmiths lasts? Like at what time does it start and when does it end?
Our assessment centre consists of five components: a written exercise, a small group task, a large group task, an oral presentation, and an interview.

It’s gonna be half day - 5 to 6 hours I guess. Not sure about start and end time but should be around 10ish to 4-5ish including a lunch break or something

Thank you! That's annoying cuz I just realised have a flight at 4pm on the same day😭. Not hoping for AC invite then.

Hahahah, you could postpone your flight or reschedule it to a night flight same day if available, if you get an ac invite if that would be possible for you (it would hopefully be worth it)😂

for anyone waiting on Blake Morgan, I sent a chaser email on Friday and heard back -

Many thanks for your interest in a Training Contract opportunity with Blake Morgan. Having reviewed our needs and approach to selection for future intakes, we have decided to only progress candidates to interview this year who have an interest in becoming a future Trainee within our Southampton office.

I don’t understand if firms think we have unlimited spare time in hand??? Why would you not mention this in the application details on your website to help us save our time and yours??? Funny part, I had to chase them and ask for an update, if I didn’t I would probably never know😂. It just really annoys me.

Agreed what a complete joke.

It’s honestly harder to bag a TC at a firm like ‘Blake Morgan’ than MC!

I understand that circumstances can change but this genuinely isn’t fair. For things like this, which are arguably foreseeable for a law firm, surely they should leave an ‘FYI’ of some sort on applications before people start applying??
