I think AS normally only get back to people that are successful in moving to the next stage of the process. After a while they send out the automated PFO’s to everyone else.

For example, I applied to the AstraZeneca and Covington AS Mentoring Scheme. A lot of people on this forum hadn’t heard back at all but they’d progressed me and others to the VI stage.

If their email said they’d get back to people by the 7th of March, I imagine they’ve already emailed the people moving forward. Perhaps you could send them an email to confirm?
I emailed and they said they’ll be in contact within the next few weeks for an update. I’m quite surprised because they asked us on the application form if we’ll be available for a virtual interview between 10th - 20th March and one of their placements starts in April. Either the they’ve already picked the people for their April scheme and focusing on them now or it’s a pfo but I’m still hopeful!

(Context: waiting to hear back from an AC) I missed a call from a number this morning - I tried to call back and got a “the number you are calling is not recognised” - looked it up and discovered this means the number was spoofed/or was a one way call line. Do firms do this sort of thing when calling people or was it more likely to be a random scammer (I don’t usually get spam calls)? Not going to email the firm in case it wasn’t them.

Check any emails you got from Grad recruitment and call that number. Some use numbers that are no incoming calls to make outgoing calls to leave lines free for clients.

No - firms don’t use such systems, so was more likely to be a scammer.
