Register HereHey, just wondering if anyone can help with clarifying pleaseeeee.I’ve come across this question and would like some clarification please - If you could work with any client as a lawyer at Lewis Silkin (even if they are not currently a client of ours), who would it be and why?
Is the best way to approach this question will be identify an individual/organisation that can properly utilise Lewis silkin services so essentially Lewis silkin would be a one-stop-shop for the client? Would I also need to mention whether or not the client resonates with Lewis Silkin values?
If I want to choose a celebrity for instance and they own a brand - do I mention the celebrity as a client or their brand.
E.G - Krept (musician) he owns Nalas Baby - do I chose Krept as my client or Nalas Baby?
I could be overthinking this simple question.

I just want to say that this is super impressive! The sheer amount of applications and your dedication to applications is amazing. Do you have a particular method to make the process of applying smooth/easy-ish?Holding myself accountable again (Covington rejection)

Hey @Lastseasonwonder and @gazdgazd11. Similar to other firms, GDC’s requirements are a 2:1 or better and they take mitigating circumstances to account in the application form.^
@Amma Usman - could you please advise here?
Is CC work experience section bullets or prose? Help please.
I did a vac scheme at a magic circle this summer and got rejected for the TC after, I have an AC for a vac scheme for a silver circle tomorrow and included my magic circle vac scheme on my application form - any idea how to approach any questions on this - idk if its viable to say I've changed significantly since the vac scheme considering it was only a few months ago.
Hey @hitherelaw , I recommend doing two things;Im filling out the Skadden allhires vacation scheme form and it's forcing me to put an end date on work experience, even though it is my current job. Anyone else having this issue/what should I do?
Thanks. I tend to research using The Lawyer which covers lateral hires. I also use Chambers & Partners for practice area details. I then try to link my own experience with clients or sectors to what the firm does.I just want to say that this is super impressive! Hey @bsh ,Just wondering if people focus on why a particular firm is attractive to them (i.e. sector focus, rankings etc) when answering questions regarding why they want to attend an open day or if they have found it more successful writing about what the open day involves (case studies, networking opps etc.) specifically?
@Jessica Booker Hi there! for VS applications when they ask questions about their clients and what issues they might be facing and how can the firm help the challenge? how should I go about answering these kinds of questions, also I always get rejected after VIs so was wondering if there's anything I can do to practice / improve them - any help and tips very much appreciated!
