First good news of the week my winter VS for a firm got rejected but they want to progress me to the next stage for the summer scheme. Needed this good news with apps.
Rejected for 3 open days, invited to 3 and applied for 8. I’m grateful for the success I’ve had soo far actually. Have a nice evening.
I applied to Cleary 2 days ago and already got rejected lmaooo 😭
3 out of 8 open days ain’t that good ngl…

I think that is really good as open days are really competitive and also considering some open day apps like 3 application questions. @IneedaTCASAP you should be proud of yourself.
i beg to differ. It’s hard getting an open day. Of course not as hard as a vacation scheme but still competitive nonetheless. I’ve not heard from 2 firms. I wouldn’t diminish someone getting an open day. You only need 1 yes amongst the 10’s of No’s you’ll get.
The Bird & Bird WG is very hard. So I sympathise with you on that rejection.
What CC open day did you apply to?
i’ve also been rejected from NRF although i passed their arctic shores assessment. also expecting a PFO from Latham for their open day.

Should I dedicate half of the word count to 'the steps' I took and mention open days/vs. etc., and the rest of the word count to what appeals to me about a career at an international law firm?
